Creating Forms with Flowforge

Forms are an essential tool for gathering customer information and streamlining business operations. Flowforge allows you to create two types of forms: Simple forms and Natural forms.

Simple Forms

Simple forms are displayed in the traditional label & field boxes format. They are ideal for collecting basic information from customers.

Natural Forms

Natural forms are seamlessly integrated into conversations based on specific triggers, such as user interest in a product listing or a search query. They are perfect for collecting more detailed information from customers.

Creating a Form

To create a form, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the "AI Agents" on the Flowforge dashboard and click on "Forms".
  2. In the "Add a New Form" window, select the type of form you prefer: Simple or Natural.
  3. Fill out the following details:
    • Name: Assign a descriptive name to your form.
    • Trigger instructions: Specify when the form should appear during conversations.
    • Label for Submit: Define the text displayed on the Submit button.
  4. Choose the type of field from the available options:
    • Text Field: Allows users to input textual information.
    • Date Picker: Enables users to select a date from a calendar widget.
    • Checkbox: Provides users with options to select one or more items from a predefined list.
    • Select Options: Presents users with a dropdown menu of choices.
    • Text Area: Offers a larger input field for users to provide longer text entries or comments.
  5. Check the real-time outcome by clicking "Add Field." Make any necessary adjustments and click "Create Form" to finalize the process.

Linking Forms to Assistants

After creating your form, navigate to the AI Agents > Assistants tab. Assuming you've already created your Assistant, proceed to the specific Assistant and click "View Forms" under the Operations tab.

  1. The "Linked Forms" prompt box appears. Select the form by clicking on the checkbox. Your form is now successfully linked to your Assistant.

Following Up with Customers

Flowforge also lets you follow up with customers on WhatsApp after they fill out the form. This feature allows you to send personalized messages to customers based on their form submissions.

By following these steps, you can create forms that seamlessly gather customer information and streamline your business operations.
