 *** A2P Verification in the US ***

As of June 2021, the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires all SMS messages sent from a business or organization to be verified through a process called A2P (Application-to-Person) verification. This means that before sending an SMS message, you must verify the recipient's phone number to ensure that it is a legitimate number and not a spam trap.

To comply with this regulation, you will need to use a verified Twilio phone number and ensure that your SMS messages are sent through a verified A2P channel.
