Creating An AI Chat Agent on WhatsApp

To create a WhatsApp bot, you'll need to complete three key stages: setting up the WhatsApp integration, setting up the chatbot agent, and setting up the WhatsApp widget.

Stage 1: Setting Up the WhatsApp Integration

1. Log in to your Flowforge dashboard and navigate to Settings > Channels.
2. Under WhatsApp, click on Set up.
3. Enter the required details:
   • Phone Number ID
   • WhatsApp Access Token
   • Facebook Secret Code
4. To generate these details, create and configure your Meta (Facebook) Business Account and App. Refer to this tutorial for guidance.

Stage 2: Setting Up the Chatbot Agent (Excluding the Widget)

1. Every chatbot agent has three building blocks:
   • The Knowledge Base
   • The Assistant (the brain of the chatbot)
   • The Widget (the user interface)

Stage 3: Setting Up the WhatsApp Widget

1. Navigate to AI Agents and click on Add a Widget under the Widgets tab.
2. Choose the Assistant you want to connect the widget to and give a name and description to your widget.
3. Select the widget type as WhatsApp.
4. Enter your WhatsApp phone number and other account details gathered from Stage 1.
5. Click Submit to create the widget.
6. Once you've added a widget, you'll see the AI agent details.

Your WhatsApp bot is now ready to interact with users.
